Helping Apprentice Electricians Succeed in the Trade
Nonprofit for Apprentice Electricians
A nonprofit scholarship fund for Bay Area apprentice electricians
Starting out in the electrical trade takes hard work, commitment, and the right support. The Jace Memorial Fund helps Bay Area apprentice electricians with tools, gear, and everyday needs so they can focus on building their future.
WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
Honoring Jace through opportunity for apprentice electricians
Every apprentice deserves a real shot at building a career they’re proud of. The Jace Memorial Fund was created in memory of Jace Davis, a young apprentice electrician who loved the trade and the people he worked alongside. What began as a way to honor him has grown into a steady source of support for apprentices across the Bay Area, helping them start their career in the electrical trade.

AN APPRENTICE SUCCESS STORY
From our very first recipient to a future licensed electrician
Angie was our very first recipient, and a member of Jace’s own class at the IBEW 595 JATC in San Leandro. She already had most of her own tools, so we provided a clothing gift card, and she later earned a gas card for logging the most volunteer hours in her class. At our first Christmas event, she presented Jace Memorial Fund with a collection of electrician pins from union halls around the country. Angie is still in the program today, working toward her license.
Financial hardship shouldn’t stand in the way of a hardworking apprentice electrician.
